JAMMU, Jun 19 (KNO) : Janta Dal United (JDU) State President G M Shaheen, today hailed the decision taken by Centre led by NDA for breaking unholy alliance with People Democratic Party (PDP) in the interest of integration and sovergnity of the nation as it was the long pending demand of JDU.

Shaheen while addressing the media said, “The Party welcomed the decision of BJP leadership led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pull out the alliance to clear the way for the imposition of Governor Rule for betterment of state and in the interest of Nation as the situation of Kashmir has become deteriorating day by day.”

He further appreciated the step taken by the Government of India to break the alliance of PDP-BJP government of Jammu and Kashmir State. “We also appreciated the BJP National President Amit Shah which announces on Tuesday that they are pulling out from PDP alliance. It was always a long pending demand of the JDU to impose Governor Rule in J&K because of present situation of Kashmir as this government led by Mehbooba Mufti has total failed in controlling the present unrest of Kashmir.

Terrorism, violence and radicalisation have risen and fundamental rights of the citizens of J&K are under danger. Shujaat Bukhari’s killing is an example,” he maintained.
